The reason they get away with being called a “church” – receiving the benefits of being tax exempt, etc… is because they meet government qualifications of being a “church” – having the “higher” power, heirarchy, and structure of a church. Makes you wonder why all “legal” religions are not called “cults.” I believe it is a dangerous, manipulative cult… but they were smart enough to manipulate the government, why not celebrities?

also it’s a “crime” for Scientologists to call police about another Scientologist’s behaviours, let alone to call them on the Church leadership. Eg. A police record of helping Marc Headley escape from the Church’s International Base in 2004…

In one way I felt sorry for John Travolta, for all of these years having to publicly deny his son had autism or seizures only to have him die of those disorders. This cult do not believe in meds for these kinds of illness’s.
