BeBe Winans, Chaka Khan and Oprah Winfrey
Oprah has been getting some backlash as of late when Bloggers started questioning her of a of a double standard by including Bebe Winans on her upcoming show, when she took a strong stand against domestic violence following Chris Brown’s assault of then-girl friend Rihanna.
The gospel singer had taped appearances on Winfrey’s “karaoke challenge” but has since been removed from the segment.
Winans was charged with misdemeanor domestic assault last winter for allegedly pushing ex-wife Debra Winans to the ground.
Once Debra found out Bebe was going to be on the show she expressed feelings of “hurt” by Oprah’s decision, Oprah then pulled Bebe off the show.
Good News! It seems Oprah is determined to do the right thing and take a stand against Domestic Violence.
