16-year old Miley Cyrus admits the lyrics she sings in her hit song “Party In The U.S.A.” have no truth to her. In the song she sings about her favorite Jay-Z song, but recently she said on her official website, “I’ve never heard a Jay-Z song… I don’t listen to pop music, that’s not my style of music.” (??)
Since when is Jay-Z pop music, and if pop music isn’t her “style” why does she sing it??
When asked about her hit song, “Party In The U.S.A.”, Miley said, “I didn’t write the song – I picked that song because I needed something to go with my clothing line,” (referring to her collaboration with Wal-Mart and designer Max Azaria.)
Okay, we’ll give Miley a break because she’s so young and naive, but any day we’d be curious to hear or see who the real Miley Cyrus is? The term “artistic integrity” comes to mind. Just sayin…
