David Archuleta says he has no idea when his next album is coming out but he loves the songs he’s got so far. He said, “I don’t think songs have to be like these super number-one-smash-hit-sounding songs, because I think it’s more important that it’s like ‘Hey! This is coming out of me. This is something I connect with… that I like to sing.’”
David is also thankful he’s been able to take his time and not rush to release an album as was the case with his self-titled album pushed out after “American Idol.” David said it’s, “kinda nice.”
Now this guy’s thinking straight. We will wait patiently David… it’ll be worth it! XO

I’m sooo excited for David’s next pop album. It sounds like it’s going to be so much more “David” than the first, and the fact that he is pleased with the songs so far gets me even more stoked. I honestly don’t care if the album’s a hit as long as David and his fans are happy with it. (although certainly a hit would be nice) I hope that at least half of the songs on the album are co-written by David.

This guy can put out anything and still sound great! I saw him live and he was sensational! He sounds better live than recorded! You can’t say that about other artists! I hope he also puts out a Spanish album, too! Have to say he’s pretty good!

I hope the record company loves the songs he’s writing. I know sometime artists have to fight to get their own stuff included. I have actually like every song David helped write on the first CD (and bonus songs) more than some of the others. I think he sings everything beautifully, but those songs just have a little something extra.
Oh, and I’m loving Christmas from the Heart that’s available now. Don’t even get me started on Silent Night or Ave Maria!

I’m really excited to hear David’s new pop CD too!! He sounds like he’s really happy with the process, so far. And he was very positive about a meeting with his label a few weeks ago!! I’m hoping this translates into more of what David wants on the next CD!

I do not think I have ever heard a Christmas Album with as much class and professionalism as “Christmas from the Heart” by David. He pours out his heart and soul and does it with so much love and gentleness. Listening to this album is like going to see a major musical production!! No matter where I listen to it, in my car or in my home, I just get chills and tears throughout my listening experience.
I am getting ready to send his CD out to many family members and friends for their Thankgiving celebrations!!! I am so thankful that David is the “gift” that just keeps on giving!!! His fans are very blessed.

I have enjoyed both albums that David has released! I have played his lst one so many times I have almost worn it out. “Christmas From The Heart” is fantastic!!! I already gave 10 out as early gifts for friends & family members. All have responded with appreciation for David’s beautiful voice! My sister said his voice is “precious” and has played it several times a day since I gave it to her on October 13th. We both feel Christmas came early this year. It is great that David will have more input with his new album. David Archuleta is a wonderful talent and I’m proud to be his fan!!

Oh yeah, we are in for a bigtime treat with David’s 3rd album in 2010! He’s had the time of his life writing for it, and I for one, am really hoping a lot of his own stuff will be on it. The songs David wrote/co-wrote on his 1st album (and the one he did for his xmas cd) are special. They have been my favorites from the beginning. When David connects with the music, it is magical. Make no mistake, David can absolutely sing anything, but get him singing something he really believes in and he takes you to another place. Try listening to his Christmas cd, and I don’t care who you are or what you believe in, there will be moments in there for you where you just say “wow.” Oh yeah, and be sure to catch David live in concert. I have been to many concerts, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen an artist deliver like David – his vocals are out of this world, and he’s loaded with charisma. Merry Christmas!
