Two of Michael Jackson’s giraffes, who used to live on Neverland Ranch, have died.  JJ and Rambo passed away under suspicious circumstances.  They had been at Banjoko Wildlife Preserve, in Arizona, since 2006.  PETA alleges that the animals died due to exposure to cold temperatures, or because they were not fed properly.  The preserve founder Freddie Hancock says, “We suspect foul play with the giraffes.  There is no other explanation for their deaths.  There is currently a police investigation going on.  Someone has hurt these giraffes.  They were healthy.”
PETA is asking the police to remove the 2 remaining giraffes from the reserve, but Freddie Hancock and her husband are already facing eviction, so the animals will likely be moved, regardless.
Clearly, something sinister happened if they were both healthy and died at the same time.  This is why wild animals need to remain in the WILD.  Hopefully the remaining 2 giraffes can survive.
