Oh Sugar!

What a difference a day makes! At least for ice princess Nicole Bobek. Remember her? Nicole won the U.S Nationals, she  won the U.S. title in 1995 and was third in the World Championships the same year, but finished 17th in the 1998 Winter Olympics at Nagano, Japan.

It now seems the skating champ is facing charges involving a METH ring!  Bobek was released on bail today.  The Jersey Journal reports: Although Bobek’s alleged crime remains unclear, Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio said Bobek, who has homes in Manhattan and in Jupiter, Fla., played a significant role in a drug network that took in $10,000 a week distributing methamphetamine in Hudson County. The prosecutor said the activity that led to the charges against Bobek occurred while she was in New York.

Nicole has been charged and believed to be a part of a New Jersey Meth drug ring. Sam DeLuca, was Bobek’s lawyer and entered a a not guilty plea for Nicole.She is being held on a bail of $200,000.

If convicted she probably faces up to 10 years in prison.
