Angelina Jolie spent Super Bowl Sunday in Miami with her love Brad Pitt and son Maddox and wasted no time afterwards jetting off to do what she does best, making a difference.
Jolie is now in the Dominican Republic visiting with the Haitian children that are waiting to receive medical attention following the devastating 7.0 earthquake that hit their country on January 12th, killing more than 200,000 people.
RadarOnline reports:
Angelina toured the pediatric wing of Dario Contreras Hospital in Santa Domingo with it’s director Hector Quezada and Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, the son of famed Peruvian writer, Mario Vargas Llosa.
Angelina also met with the President of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernandez at the presidential National Palace.
It is reported that Jolie, who serves as a goodwill ambassador for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and UNICEF, will travel to the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince on Tuesday. Angelina was also one of the first to donate 1 million dollars to Haiti along with Brad Pitt.
Say what you want about Angelina but this is a woman who actually “WALKS THE WALK” and doesn’t just run her mouth. LOVE HER!

Angelina & Brad are awesome philanthropists!! They use their fortune & fame to do good deeds in the world. AND they are grateful that they are able to share their wealth with people in need. I hope they are eternally blessed….

She is an actress, and a bad one at best! What is she doing there? Single handedly saving Haiti?!? Give me a break!

^^^^ well, that’s an ugly comment. Clearly she wants to be certain that financial donations are getting to the survivors & not wasted by CEO’s,etc. How can anyone find fault with people willing to give so much?
