Actor Ben Affleck has been tapped to direct an upcoming film about one of baseball’s biggest scandals. The Warner Brothers film “The Trade” centers around the real-life scandal involving two 1970′s New York Yankees who swapped wives. In 1973, Pitchers Fritz Peterson and Mike Kekick announced to the world they would be swapping wives because they were “in love.”
Since then Kekick and Peterson’s ex-wife have split, while Peterson and Kekich’s ex Suzanne remain together. The best part of all of this — Ben and Matt Damon are rumored to be playing the roles of the baseball pitchers!
The only other celebrity couple we know to have swapped wives is Shania Twain and her ex Mutt Lange. Should be insightful. XO
