88-year-old Betty White is confirmed to be the sole host of “Saturday Night Live” May 8th. It’s set to be a special Mother’s Day episode featuring six “SNL” female veterans: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Rachel Dratch, Maya Rudolph, and Ana Gasteyer.
The large cast may give Betty a break on the amount of scenes she’s included in, but she’s up for anything. She said, “I’ve got so much energy, it’s ridiculous. I love working. My schedule is a feverish one, and I’m used to that.”
It took a Facebook campaign to get Betty to agree to host. She said, “Years ago, I turned it down three times. It’s so New York, and I’m not New York at all. But my agent said he’d divorce me if I didn’t do it, and I love my agent.”
This is gonna be a serious HOOT! XO
