Oscar-winner Kate Winslet and her director-husband Sam Mendes have split. The couple was married for nearly 7 years and they have a son together. Kate also has a daughter from a previous marriage. A statement from their lawyers said, ”The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.”
