Drake says that he hasn’t given up all hope of collaborating with Sade, even though the U.K. singer turned down the opportunity to work with the Canadian rapper.
Speaking with MTV, Drake said he understood Sade’s decision.
“Other people’s visuals, other people’s songs, stepping outside your zone can jeopardize your brand,” Drake explained. “It can bring you down as opposed to bring you up.”
While Drake claims he understands, he is still disappointed. “I personally feel we could have done something amazing . . . but I don’t think she really knows who I am, really, my genre of music. I put it out there. It was more of a hopeful thing.”
Although we can understand Drake wanting to work with Sade ( who wouldn’t) we don’t see this one happening. Sorry, Drake.

And, it should never happen! Not to take anything from Drake, because I’m sure he’s good at whatever it is he does, being that I don’t really listening to the music of the new (so called R&B croners), but I think Drake is trying to use Sade to take his career to this next level of music status, to gain her audience. No thank you, Drake, the reason why there’s the Sade’s, Sting, Jody Watley’s, and other artist that’s had longeverty in the business, is indivisuality, something your generation lack! Better luck next time!
