Ranked #7 in People Magazine’s annual sexiest men alive issue, Dave Annable is more than worthy of our Monday Morning Hottie!

Early on Annable made a promise to him mother that no matter what he would finish school. Annable dropped out of college in 2003 to pursue his acting career, but then returned and finally earned his diploma from SUNY Plattsburgh on May 16, 2009. In addition to earning his degree, Annable was awarded the “Off To A Good Start” award and gave a commencement address to his fellow Class of 2009 graduates. Completing college was a promise he made to his mother and was able to see thru. Too sweet!

On the big screen, Annable is best known for his role as “Bean” in Nick Hurran’s 2004 film, Little Black Book. In 2006, he accepted a regular starring role on the ABC family comedy-drama Brothers & Sisters alongside veteran television actors and actresses Rob Lowe, Calista Flockhart, Rachel Griffiths, Ron Rifkin and Sally Field, as well as little known actors in addition to Annable – Matthew Rhys and Balthazar Getty.

If you don’t know who Van Vicker is stay tuned…the guy is not only beautiful but he is a talented family man too!

Vicker started out in show business in radio and as a television personality for Metropolitan Television (Metro TV). In 2003. From there was cast in his first film Divine Love as a supporting character. This film coincidentally was also the debut roles for fellow actors Jackie Aygemang and Majid Michel who were cast in the female and male lead respectively. The producer had insisted that Van be given a supporting role in Divine Love.

That chance paid off, exposing Vicker to the movie industry. Even though Van’s role in Divine Love was in a supporting capacity, based on the strength of his performance, Van has been consistently cast in leading romantic roles thereafter. A role he has since become well known for playing. Thank goodness because we love watching him!

As far as his personal life, Van is a family man who is married with children. He owns several businesses and also the Van Vicker Foundation, an outreach program for up coming young artists.

The only complaint we have in regards to Van Vicker is that we don’t see enough of him. (hint to producers)

Apolo Ohno is one of only four Americans who have won three medals in a single Winter Olympic games.He has been the reigning United States champion since 2001 and has won the men’s national title a total of 12 times. In December 1999, he became the youngest skater to win a World Cup event title, and became the first American to win a World Cup overall title in 2001In 2008, Ohno won his first overall World Championship title and in 2010 he is still winning! 7 Career medals!!

Things were never easy for this Monday Morning Hottie. Being raised by his single dad in Seattle, his father worked 12 hours a day as a stylist when Apolo was young to make ends meet. Apolo’s father didn’t want him becoming a latchkey kid so he made the best decision of his life and  got him admitted to the Lake Placid Olympic Training Center in 1996 to train full-time for short track. At 13 years of age, Ohno was the youngest skater admitted to the center and the rest is history in the making!

Ohno has never been one to shy away from giving back. He is very generous with both this time a money which makes us love him even more! He has helped raise funds for a Ronald McDonald House in Seattle. He participated in Gap’s campaign to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS in Africa by joining Product Red Half of the proceeds went to the The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. He joined in a dinner fundraiser for Nikkei Concerns, a provider of care and services for Japanese elders living in the Pacific Northwest. The dinner helped raise a total of $20,000.On April 26, 2006, Ohno joined Senator Ted Kennedy in Washington, D.C. to show the importance of math and science education by helping launch the “Math Moves U” Hippest Homework Happening program, which gave students the opportunity to do math homework online with celebrities and athletes.

Apolo Ohno is a first class guy. He is humble, gorgeous and a great role model. We are so proud to have him represent the USA!

Aside from those haunting kissable lips, actor James Franco brings alot to the table!

Born April 19, 1978 James Edward Franco is an American actor, director, screenwriter, film producer, and artist.

Franco achieved international fame as a result of his portrayal of Harry Osborn in the Spider-Man trilogy. Since then, his films have included the war film The Great Raid (2005), the 2006 romantic drama Tristan & Isolde, and Justin Lin’s drama Annapolis (2006). In 2008, Franco starred in the comedy stoner film Pineapple Express and received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. He played a prominent role in the 2008 biographical film Milk, just to name a few!

In regards to his personal life, James is not married! He has been in a relationship with Ahna O’Reilly since 2006 though, but still no ring!

A fun fact about James..he loves to paint. Franco has said that painting was the “outlet” he needed in high school, and that he “has actually been painting longer than he has been acting.” His paintings were displayed publicly for the first time at the Glü Gallery in Los Angeles, California from January 7, 2006 through February 11, 2006. Franco can also be seen painting in a scene in Spider-Man.

And just so you know. one of our staff members had the pleasure of meeting him personally and told us he is much more gorgeous in real-life and very down to earth and charming!!

Criminal shows are already fun to begin with but when you bring Matthew Gray Gubler into the mix it’s intriguing plus eye candy!

Matthew is best known for his role as the young genius Dr. Spencer Reid in the CBS television show Criminal Minds, but something you might not know is he was a model prior to acting. Big surprise! With his fabulous cheekbones, who could blame him?  Matthew modeled for Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs and American Eagle,among others. He was also ranked #46 on models.com list of top 50 male models. Nice!

After he began modeling, Gubler had an internship for Wes Anderson, who encouraged him to audition for a part in his movie The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Gubler did, and landed the role of Nico (a.k.a Intern #1). This led to his role as Dr. Spencer Reid in Criminal Minds. He had also a small role in the 2006 film RV as the disreputable Joe Joe and voiced the character of Simon in 2007’s Alvin and the Chipmunks, alongside Jason Lee, Justin Long and Jesse McCartney. Now here’s the good news ladies…he is not married! So tune in and check him out because we have a feeling he will be around hollywood for a long time.

We have been continuously  reading other blogs talking crap about Nick Cannon and his marriage to Mariah Carey and we dug deep to ask ourselves why Nick Cannon makes others so uncomfortable?

So much to the point that they call him a “wimp”  ”her little boy toy” and even worse “her assistant”.

Why the hate?

All we see is a man who obviously is in love with his wife. Since when it is wrong for a man to guide and care for his wife?

This is what we have witnessed about Nick Cannon so far:

He protects his wife when she walks

He makes her laugh (often)

He has a job and an even (bigger job) on the way

And…He makes her happy!!! So what’s the problem?

We finally see a man who truly cares for his wife and then he becomes a WIMP?

So this is why Nick Cannon is our Monday Morning Hottie!!! More men need to take notice and take notes!

Kudos to Mariah for knowing a great catch when she sees one and many blessings to this beautiful couple!

Chris Hemsworth

Oh Sugar!

We have 2 for the ladies this morning! Australian born hotties, brothers, Chris and Liam Hemsworth are on fire!

The brothers are both actors and models. You can see Chris in the movie “Thor” coming out in 2010 and his brother Liam can be seen as the romantic lead opposite Miley Cyrus in the new movie “The Last Song”. They are also posing together for the new issue of  Vanity Fair magazine. NICE!

Keep your eyes on these two. They have only just begun and we have only JUST begun seeing alot of them, thank goodness!

Liam Hemsworth

If you ever wondered what determination looks like meet ‘Pleasure Ellis’.

Pleasure Ellis initially from Witchita Kansas wanted to break into the music business and took a route many would be fearful of, but his determination has paid off.

When trying to break into the biz, the singer somehow had gotten a hold of MC Hammer’s private phone number and called him to explain why Hammer should represent him and amazingly it worked!

MC Hammer was so impressed with his approach that he asked Pleasure Ellis to send him a demo tape and the rest is history. Hammer immediately moved Pleasure Ellis to L.A. to begin his career in music.

Liam Neeson, all we can say is 1000% charisma!

The 57 year old actor was born in Northern Ireland and was named Liam, Irish for William, after the local priest.  He started acting at a very young age and then in 1987 made a decision to take his acting to Hollywood.  He went on to star in ‘Suspect’, ‘Darkman’ and then his unforgettable role as of Oskar Schindler in the film about the Holocaust, Schindler’s List.

Schindler’s List established Neeson as a widely sought after leading actor. He later starred in period pieces Rob Roy (1995) and Michael Collins (1996), the latter earning him another Golden Globe nomination and a win for Best Starring Role at the Venice Film Festival. Neeson went on to star as Jean Valjean in the 1998 adaptation of Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables and in The Haunting as Dr. David Marrow.

Liam Neeson was married to actress Natasha Richardson from 3 July 1994 until her tragic death on March 18th 2009, when Richardson suffered a severe head injury sustained in a skiing accident.

If you get a chance rent one of his movies. He is a classic actor and carries unbelievable charisma and charm on screen. We hope to see much more of him in the future.

Girls… you’re welcome!  If you too have been wondering who that gorgeous new doctor on Grey’s Anatomy is… meet Jesse Williams.  Oh Sugar!

This 28-year-old  hottie was born in Chicago to a Swedish mother and an African American father.  He graduated from Tempe University with degrees in African-American Studies and Film & Media Arts.  You may remember him as Lena’s love interest in “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2″ or from the new HBO series “The Washingtoniene”, executive produced by Sarah Jessica Parker.  Jesse has also starred off-Broadway in the hit “The American Dream” and “The Sandbox”.

He’s got the education and acting experience it’s going to take to stand beside the actors in Grey’s Anatomy.  When asked who his favorite character on the show is, Jesse said, “I would have to say Cristina. She always seems to be the hardest worker, the most passionate, and funny, which is important to me. Sometimes you’re laughing more at what she’s saying than her trying to be funny. As actors, I think everyone on the show is outstanding, but particularly the women. They have to carry a lot of the load for us, in terms of the drama in and out of the hospital. I am really, really impressed to stand beside them as they work. I think they can teach me a lot.”

Jesse also plays the role of Rihanna’s love-interest in her video “Russian Roulette” off of her “Rated R” Album.   But sorry ladies, this hottie is married with child.  He and his wife Markee tied the knot in July of 2008, and have a 3-year-old son, Ryder.

Wouldn’t it be nice if real doctors looked like Jesse?  We wonder what his nick-name will be… McDreamy and McSteamy are taken…  got a suggestion??

This Monday Morning Hottie ‘Lee Thompson Young’ was one of the reasons we were tuning in to “Flashforward” every Thursday night!

Lee Thompson Young was born in South Carolina and at age ten he portrayed Dr. Martin Luther King in a play called “A Night of Stars and Dreams”. That’s when Lee decided he wanted to be an actor.

Young then moved to NYC to pursue a serious career in acting. He got himself an agent and attended the Professional Performing Arts High School.

The rest is history. Young has gone onto to star in shows such as ‘Friday Night Lights’, Scrubs, The Guardian, and most recent ‘Flashforward’.

Now we get to the problem: His character on Flashforward jumped off a building to his death last week.

This does not make us happy. We like seeing Lee on our TV’s.

Casting director’s take note: please get this guy a longer gig…we need to see MORE of him!
