Glam rocker Adam Lambert is on-trend – right down to his green polish and sharp fedora – while arriving Thursday at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, Penn., for a stop on his Glam Nation tour.
The singer stopped to greet fans and sign autographs. His music is still climbing the charts as we speak so Adam has good reason to smile. 
Having risen to stardom via “American Idol,” Adam Lambert has built a huge following – thanks in part to his openness about his personal struggles.
During a recent interview, the eccentric singer dished details on growing up and how he was a bit lacking in confidence.
Adam explains:
“Growing up I wasn’t very confident. It wasn’t until in my early 20s that I evolved into who I really was and wanted to be. I always used to look at being different as a bad thing, but I’ve learned that you need to take pride in the fact that you are unique.”
The 28-year-old adds, “I was an ugly duckling, I was overweight and at 12 I realized I was gay. I kept that a secret until I was 18, so dealing with that and not feeling attractive was hard. The main validation I got was from being a performer, because it made me feel good about myself.”
Seriously, it’s hard to imagine Adam lacking any confidence but we all have our struggles.

Adam Lambert has begun to announce tour dates, including some big venues. The “very theatrical” Glam Nation Tour starts in June and Adam says fan can expect cool special-effects and lighting. He adds, “People won’t be let down in the glam department; it’ll definitely be something to look at as well as listen to.”

The first show he’ll be part of is a radio station concert at Staples Center in Los Angeles on May 15th. Then Adam will headline in smaller venues with his Glam Nation Tour, mostly on the east coast at this point. You can catch him at the Nokia Theater in NYC June 22nd, and at the Borgata Spa & Resort Event Center in Atlantic City, NJ, June 26th.
This is a good start for Adam. He’s gotta get polished enough to open for GaGa in the future… (!) You know it will happen
Former American Idol contestant, Adam Lambert, will be serving as “mentor” in next week’s episode of Idol. He’ll be working with this seasons finalists on next Tuesday’s show, April 13th. Then on Wednesday, he’ll perform his song “Whataya Want From Me.”
It’s perfect timing for the release of Adam’s new remix EP which comes out next Tuesday. Called “Remixes”, the EP will feature new versions of “Whataya Want from Me”, “For Your Entertainment”, and a new track called “Voodoo.”
Should be good considering none of this year’s contestants are anything like Adam. Maybe he can sprinkle some of his stardust on them. XO

If you ever wondered why Adam Lambert loves his lavish use of eye make-up, it’s because he’s currently working on his own line of make-up for adventurous men. Adam feels even straight guys are likely to experiment with cosmetics.(really?)
The line feature everything from foundation, concealer, shadow, mascara, and lip gloss, to nail polish. We are thinking this will go over well with the Adam Ant, Dave Navarro types. Thoughts?
Adam Lambert seems to have channeled Rob Halford (Judas Priest) at Mardi Gras in Sydney, Australia, over the weekend.

Get ready for March 10th as Adam Lambert will be on Vh1 Unplugged!
It will be the first of eight scheduled episodes that present among others Phoenix (for MTV), The Script (for VH1) and Reba McEntire (for CMT). In the show’s manner, Lambert will be performing songs from his debut album “For Your Entertainment” accompanied by acoustic back up and surrounded by audience in an intimate stage.
Lambert is currently touring in Australia to promote the album until March 9. One of his stops Down Under included the country’s version of “So You Think You Can Dance”. After that, he would travel to Singapore, Tokyo, U.K. and finally wind down in Canada in early April.
It’s good to see Unplugged back and who better than Adam to kick it off!
