The multi-talented Alicia Keys and Beyonce are taking full advantage of Rio de Janeiro’s Carnivale season. The duo kicked off shooting their new video this morning in the sexy city. They’re decked out in Carnivale gear in many scenes and Laurie Ann Gibson is choreographing, this one should be fabulous!

Alicia Keys North American Tour Dates With Robin Thicke

Alicia Keys is bring R&B singer Robin Thicke on tour with her for the North American leg of the “Freedom Tour.”  She’s just released a slew of dates including New York, Chicago, L.A., and Miami.  Robin is gearing up for the trek and says, “I am excited and honored to be going on tour with Alicia.  She’s one of my favorite artists and I know we’re going to put on a great, fun, and sexy show that everyone can enjoy.”
The shows begin in Ottawa, Canada on February 28th and end at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California, on April 10th.  After that, Alicia heads to western Europe to continue playing for her adoring fans.
You can also catch Alicia when she joins Usher and Shakira to perform at the NBA All-Star Game, airing this Sunday February 14th on TNT from Dallas.
Congrats to Alicia for just getting her first #1 album in the UK, with her latest “The Element of Freedom” album!

Alicia Keys Is Engaged!

UsMagazine.com is reporting that singer Alicia Keys and producer Swizz Beatz are now engaged to be married.  Swizz proposed with a 7-carat ring last Sunday, the day before Alicia’s 29th birthday.  For whatever reasons, Alicia’s reps are denying the reports, but sources say Alicia “feels blessed” and “is thrilled.”
Swizz Beatz is in the midst of divorcing his current wife, singer Mashonda.  They have a 3-year-old son and had been married four years when deciding to split last April.  Swizz also has a 15-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
Congrats Alicia!  We’ll miss your amazing heartbreak songs.  XO

Alicia Keys November Awards Show Performances

Alicia Keys plans to dazzle both the 2009 Latin Grammy Awards, and the American Music Awards with performances this month.  She will sing with Alejandro Sanz at this years Latin Grammy’s, along with performances from Daniela Mercury and Reik.  On November 22nd, Alicia will  perform at the 2009 American Music Awards ceremony… hopefully some of her new material.

Alicia has her fourth studio album, “The Element of Freedom”, coming out December 15th.  Yes please!  XO
