It’s no secret Angelina Jolie takes her role as Goodwill Ambassador for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees seriously.
If she is not filming a movie or spending downtime with her family then she is on the road raising awareness. This time Angelina had a personal meeting with the president of Bosnia Hercegovina.
Jolie sat down with Jeljko Komsic in Sarajevo to discuss the fate of over 100,000 refugees who are still displaced 15 years after the brutal civil war that tore apart their country.
“I hope that there will soon be practical steps to improve these people’s lives,” Jolie said in a statement released by the UNHCR.
Some people bash Angelina stating she just does this for attention but even IF that was true..so what? She is still raising awareness which is alot more than most of us do.

After a weekend of great ticket sales for her newest flick ‘Salt’ Angelina was spotted escorting her biggest fans – children Maddox, 8, Zahara, 5, Pax, 6, and Shiloh, 4 – through Narita International Airport in Japan on Monday.

The parent company behind Britain’s News of the World will pay an undisclosed sum to settle a lawsuit against the newspaper by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie that claimed the two were legally separating and had negotiated custody arrangements.
On Thursday, the couple’s lawyer said in London’s High Court that Rupert Murdoch’s News Group Newspapers accepted that its published allegations were “false and intrusive,” reports the BBC.
In January, when the suit was filed, the couple’s attorney, Keith Schilling, stated: “We can confirm unequivocally … that the allegations published by the News of the World are false as well as intrusive.”
Good for them. Enough is enough.:)

The NY Post reports that the movie’s local promoters are trying to locate Anna who is presumably being interrogated by her superiors along with the nine other deported agents. Her exact location is not known. Moscow film promoters want to please Angelina so they’ve sent an invitation to Anna’s last home address in Russia and are hoping she shows.
Angie plays a CIA Agent suspected of being a double agent in the movie and Anna’s presence at the premier would bring an avalanche of publicity for “Salt.

The new version of the Queen of the Nile’s story is being based on a just-published biography, Cleopatra: A Life, by Stacy Schiff, who says of Angelina, “physically, she’s perfect” for the role.
Producer Scott Rudin also confirmed the Jolie involvement. He told USA Today the movie is “being developed for and with Jolie.”
We can’t wait to see who gets the role of Mark Antony.
