Monday Morning Hottie…’Shahid Kapoor’

Okay….ladies…we have a stunning one this morning!

Not only is Shahid Kapoor drop-dead gorgeous but he is multi-talented as well!

Starting off his career by working in music videos and advertisements, Kapoor made his Bollywood debut as a background dancer in Subhash Ghai’s Taal (1999). Four years later, he made his debut as a lead in Ishq Vishk (2003) and won a Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for his performance. Following through with acclaimed performances in films like Fida (2004) and Shikhar (2005), he had his first commercial success with Sooraj R. Barjatya’s Vivah (2006), and followed it up with Jab We Met (2007) and Kaminey (2009) which are some of his most successful ones to date.

However, his performance as Jaidev Vardhan, a man who is sucked into the world of money and greed in John M. Matthan’s drama Shikhar was critically acclaimed, earning Kapoor his first Star Screen Award for Best Actor nomination. According to IndiaFM, “Shahid Kapoor is only improving with every film.

And if you are wondering if this guy is married, the answer is NO! He did date Karena Kapoor for 3 years and then separated during the filming of Jab We Met. According to Shahid, they remained on good terms, with him saying, “I wish her “Kareena” all the happiness in the world. I have great respect for her. She’s a wonderful girl.”

It’s good to know Shahid’s career is still on the uprise, we would love to see this guy in action for a long time! We need to report on him more too (our promise to you)!

Freida Pinto Saves A Fan From Getting Hit By A Speeding Car

“Slumdog Millionaire” star Frieda Pinto had a seriously close call, when she ran into the street to save a fan from being hit by a car speeding by. It started when the fan approached Frieda for an autograph. Frieda didn’t see her coming, and just happened to turn around and bump into the woman, knocking her into traffic.

A witness at the scene said, “She ran into the middle of the road and helped the woman out of the car’s path, making sure that the woman was okay… it was quite a shock for everyone.”

Wow! That fan got way more than an autograph. We’d say Freida acted heroically! XO

Dev And Frieda Still Going Strong

Slumdog Millionaire lovebirds Dev and Freida are still going strong!

The adorable couple hit up shoe shopping in London yesterday. As far as fashion and shopping goes Frieda doesn’t hold back!

Both stars are hard at work on new films. Frieda is working with Woody Allen and Dev continues work on M. Night Shyamalan’s “The last Airbender”.

It will be good to see both of them on the big screen again and soon!

Aishwarya Rai Is Back Home

One of the most beautiful actresses on the planet,”Aishwarya Rai Bachchan” is back home with hubby Abhishek Bachchan from abroad to celebrate Karwa Chauth.
The couple had spent some time in the United States and made a stop by the Oprah show in which they opened up about their home lives.
They divulged to Oprah that they respect their parents and live with their mother and father, actress Jaya Bachchan and actor Amitabh Bachchan. They even added that if they are in town they make sure that they have at least one meal a day together.

This is their second year of marriage and Ash wanted to celebrate the festival at home with her family in the same way she celebrated her first Karwa Chauth.

What a beautiful couple!

Ranbir Kapoor Is Afraid Of The Water

Ranbir Oh Sugar!

You might not know this but actor Ranbir Kapoor has a phobia. He is afraid of the water, but good news, this did not keep him from filming his new film in a pool with 12 women!

Of course he was on his best behaviour, the actor wasn’t flirting around in Deepika’s absence but was shooting for a song of the film directed by Ayan Mukherjee.

Believe it or not, shooting with the 12 girls was no fun for Ranbir. Because it was in the water and he has a phobia of water. The star is afraid of going anywhere close to swimming pools or big water bodies like lakes, rivers or seas.

Ayan is quoted as saying, “Ranbir was scared of jumping into the water and he feels breathless when he’s in the pool.”

The scene required Ranbir to jump into a pool with a group of young girls and dance. The song was Wake Up Sid Club mix and he had to shoot in the neck-deep water.

Ranbir is such an amazing actor though he never let anyone see his fear while filming.

Good to know he is okay and hopefully no more pool scenes for awhile.

Priyanka Chopra Burst Into Tears On Chat Show

But success did not come easy for this star as she breaks down in tears on the chat show, ‘Tere Mere Beech Mein’ hosted by Farah Khan.

When recalling those hard days of dedication and hard work and mostly the struggles the actress was in tears.

Bollywood Mantra Reports: Along with Priyanka Chopra another struggler from a small city will be there to share his struggling experience. He is the Olympic boxing champion, Vijender Singh. Not once but few times, Priyanka’s tears roll down her cheeks and she even cannot hold her tears when Vijender narrated his days of struggle.

Now her days are much brighter as Priyanka has just completed “Kaminey” with Shahid Kapur. She is now on to bigger and better things with Ranbir leading the promising crew. The pairing spree certainly gives Priyanka an edge over her rivals.

Keep your eye on this one…She has just begun!

Hold on to your seats ladies, because this Monday Morning Hottie is no joke!

John Abraham, 36, started his career as a model for several advertisements before accelerating his career into acting!

Abraham made his film debut with Jism (2003), which earned him a Filmfare Best Debut Award nomination and them moved on to other projects which eventually earned this actor a nomination under the category of Best Supporting Actor at Filmfare for the movie Baabul.

Not only is he drop-dead gorgeous but he loves animals too:

” I work for social causes that I address. I love animals and I work for PETA. I have my own brigade called John’s brigade for Habitat for Humanity, Habitat For Humanity is a Jimmy Carter foundation project.” John said when asked about his work.

Fun Fact: In 2008, John became the first Indian ever to feature in the ‘25 Sexiest Men’ list compiled by E! News and was ranked as the 7th sexiest man in the world. In the same year, UK magazine Eastern Eye named Abraham the “Sexiest Man In Asia”.
