Britney Spears and the Bad Romance singer had been neck-and-neck for the top Twitter title but Lady Gaga finally surpassed the Baby One More Time songstress on Saturday. By early today, Gaga had 5.745 million followers while Spears had 5.705 million.
In a satirical video of gratitude, Lady Gaga thanked her fans for the honour while holding a sceptre and wearing a pointy hat to inaugurate her reign as Twitter queen.
“Hello world, this is Lady Gaga, queen of Twitter,” the tweeting monarch said.
“I wanted to thank all my beautiful little monsters for following me…may you always have soft cuticles while tweeting and may you never have carpal tunnel.”

On Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning, ‘Glee’ creator Ryan Murphy put to rest any doubts, saying Britney is 100% “going to be on the episode,” likely as the dental assistance to John Stamos’ character.
“The Britney episode is so reverential about her and so kind and it’s about her music and it’s not about her personal life,” Murphy said. “And I think, Britney Spears is pop culture, and I think she’s been through a lot. And I want to do something that just sort of says, you know what, ‘thank you for what you have done.’”

Ken Paves chimes in on the Britney Spears hair drama and this is what the stylist had to say:
“It’s not that big of a deal actually, we have all seen this before. A case of bed head, who hasn’t had it? (Ummm…me?!?) The truth is that this is exactly how these extensions are applied, however we are not supposed to see them, that’s all. There are thousands and thousands of women walking around whose hair looks just like that ‘underneath’. The remedy is simply to cover it up. It’s not a case of bad extensions, just a bad hair day!”
Seriously? BAD ADVICE…The best advice would be to steer clear of the hair weaves ladies…they RUIN your hair!

Our girl Britney was spotted shopping at Crate and Barrel and the back of her head has many puzzled. What in the heck is going on with Britney and her hair??
Having had so much hair drama in her past, you would think she would pay more attention to her locks or pay someone else to, but no. Once again, Britney could care less about her tresses. Who let her hair look like this? We have a feeling some poor hairstylist will be looking for a new job soon.

In addition, she is the fifth overall female artist to join the ranks of Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey who have also sold over 100 million albums.

The child abuse investigation against Britney Spears was dropped by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, finally!
The investigation was sparked by allegations made by former bodyguard Fernando Flores who had accused her of beating her two sons, Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3.
The department said there was “absolutely no truth to the accusations,” a Spears’ family insider reports.
“Sean and Jayden’s pediatricians submitted documentation that the boys were healthy, and that they have never seen any signs of abuse. The case was officially closed after the department received that information from the boys’ doctor,” revealed the source.
Sounds like the bodyguard wanted to get paid and was looking for that shameful 15 minutes of fame.
