Currently enjoying time off after a impressive world tour, Britney is reaping the rewards from her successful comeback – as she is among the nominees at the upcoming Juno awards.
With the winner to be announced on April 18th,Britney’s’ latest album “Circus” is among the select few discs vying for International Album of the Year honors.
And who better to celebrate her down time with than her mom Lynne Spears. The mother-daughter duo took in a day of retail therapy in LA, including bags of goodies from Barneys New York.

Can you imagine being Britney Spears and going shopping for the day? It must be mind boggling but it seems Brit handles all the chaos in stride.

The singer decided to go shopping on Robertson Blvd. in LA and then off to get her blonde locks back. Of course all of this with bodyguards and chauffeurs in tow.

We have to say we love Britney as a blonde and it usually means she is in high spirits..which is a good thing. :)

Word on the street is Lady GaGa and Britney Spears will be recording a song together.

Gaga’s dad, who allegedly met Britney at the Grammys last week, chatted with Britney and told her how much Gaga loves her and would die to record a duet together.
“GaGa has made no secret of just how much of a Britney fan she is,” a source told Britain’s ‘The Sun.’
“She has even admitted she used to have posters of her on her wall and she was a great source of inspiration when she was a struggling songwriter.”
“She was delighted when she found her dad chatting away to Britney at the party.”
“He introduced them and the three of them were locked in conversation for ages.”
“At the end of the chat, they exchanged numbers and agreed to go into the studio and work on music together as soon as GaGa finishes her Fame Monster tour.”

Our lovely Britney Spears has be baffling hotel staff lately at the Mondrian Hotel, The Sun reports. Britney has taken to trotting around the Mondrian Hotel mimicking the troublesome child, who speaks with a plummy British accent.
A source said: “Britney has developed a real fascination for Family Guy.
“She’s been staying in the hotel’s penthouse suite and has been watching box sets of the “Family Guy”.  She really likes Stewie and has been trying to copy his British accent.
“It’s a bit weird, especially when she’s in the gym speaking like a camp Brit.”
We love Britney no matter what the accent. Stay strong girl, your beautiful boys need you.

Great news for Britney Spears. The singer has renewed her partnership with Candie’s brand, which is only featured at Kohl’s department stores, and will appear in their 2010 campaigns for the line.

“I had a great experience working with Candie’s and Kohl’s last year and I am thrilled to be asked to sign on again for a second year.  We’re planning some very cool photo shoots and I can’t wait for my fans to see them,” Brit said of her renewed contract with the brand, announced today by Iconix Brand Group, Inc, and posted on Brit’s Web site.
The chief marketing officer of Iconix, Dari Marder stated, “We had such a successful year with Britney in 2009 that we wanted to keep the momentum going and offer our Candie’s customers new, exciting campaigns with Britney in 2010.  Britney has been a great partner, truly embracing the brand, and we know her fans worldwide will love what we have coming next.”

Britney Spears Will Appear In Court Today

Britney Spears is to appear in court Friday possibly so the commissioner can see how she is doing. This chambers meeting is not about ending the conservatorship and the attorney’s have not filed a petition to end the conservatorship, at least not yet.

However, The lawyers and Jamie and Britney for sure , want to begin the process of undoing the personal conservatorship.

Good for Brit! One step closer to reclaiming her life.

It’s reported that Britney Spears’ boyfriend, Jason Trawick, was cavorting around L.A. with another woman.  A source spotted Jason and “a stunning girl who looked like Britney did five years ago” exiting the Roger Room together. He had his arm around her and looked extremely comfortable.
Meanwhile Britney is supposedly with her mom in the Penthouse suite at the Mondrian Hotel… an old hangout of Britney’s.  It could be where she and her mom get together away from Britney’s dad. (?)
If it’s true, we hope Jason was man enough to break-up with Britney before pursuing another woman.
