Newlyweds Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher now on their honeymoon have been taking in the the French Polynesian sights. Especially underwater and by air.
“Carrie and Mike have enjoyed swimming and snorkeling with reef sharks,” a source tells People Online of the honeymooners. “They also toured the island via helicopter.”
That’s not to say they’re not spending time alone, too, in their luxury overwater bungalow.
“They have also spent some quiet alone time on their
deck,” the source says. “They looked so happy together and can’t stop kissing and
doting on each other.”
The two, who wed on July 10 at Georgia’s Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation resort, arrived in Tahiti on July 12, and were greeted with juice in coconut shells.
They also “would not let go of each other’s hands when they were escorted to their bungalow,” the source says. “They looked very much like happy and excited newlyweds.”
Super sweet. We are so happy for them. Carrie Underwood is one of the nicest celebrities we’ve had the pleasure of meeting!

Security was beyond tight for the all-star list of guests which included Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul.
Carrie’s country music friends Faith Hill and Randy Jackson, and Garth Brooks were also there. So were numerous members of both families
“We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!” the newlyweds told PEOPLE in a statement, signing their names “Mike & Carrie Fisher.”
Underwood wore a Chantilly lace dress created for her by Monique Lhuillier, who also designed the bridesmaids’ dresses.
Many congratulations to them both, Mike is one lucky man!

Carrie lost out to Miranda Lambert’s White Liar for Female Video of the Year, but she did win CMT Performance of the Year for her Invitation Only performance of Temporary Home.

Season 4 American Idol winner, five-time Grammy winner, two-time reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year, and Grand Ole Opry member Carrie Underwood will take a quick break from her highly successful “Play On Tour” to appear on American Idol (FOX) on Wednesday, May 26, 8:00pm ET live/PT tape-delayed. Underwood will perform her new smash hit single, “Undo It.” This is Underwood’s second appearance on American Idol this year having performed on “Idol Gives Back” earlier this season.
Underwood’s “Play On Tour” will perform shows this weekend in Sacramento, Reno and Las Vegas, followed by performances on May 29 in Everett, Washington and May 30 in Spokane, Washington. The “Play On Tour” will continue through the end of the year, wrapping up December 19, 2010 in Calgary.
It’s no wonder American Idol loves having Carrie on the show to perform. She is truly a class act.

“I think the hardest thing about what I do is eating [healthy] because we’re all over the place. It’s fast food, there’s aftershow food, you get pizza, whatever.I don’t do that. I don’t eat out ever.”
“Every once in a while I have a day off and I might go to a restaurant — but no aftershow food and I keep my fridge stocked. It’s all about making a conscious effort. I don’t do anything crazy, but I definitely try to take care of myself.”
Smart girl..there is so much fat in restaurant food, but remember you gotta enjoy every once in awhile.
