Carrie Underwood is celebrating the one-year anniversary of rescuing her dog from a friend in Nashville by helping Pedigree with their sixth annual dog adoption drive. The goal is to find homes for the homeless dogs, and feed the hungry dogs. Carrie said, “I can’t imagine my life without my dog, Ace. I’ve had a passion for animals my entire life. They’re such sweet and gentle souls that love you just because you love them back.”
Carrie once worked at a vet clinic and still volunteers at a shelter when in her home state of Oklahoma. She said this about her cute rat terrier, Ace, “He’s smart and he’s fun and makes me really appreciate all the little things in life because he is a little thing.”
Even if you can’t adopt a dog, you can easily make sure Pedigree donates a bowl of food to a shelter dog, just by becoming a fan of Pedigree on Facebook!
