Chris Brown was required to attend a hearing this morning and appeared in front of Judge Patricia Schnegg for a progress report stemming from his beating of ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown received a ton of praise from the judge for staying on track with his probation.

Brown has completed 290 hours of hard labor for his community service requirement of the terms of his probation.

In addition, Brown has completed all but one of his domestic violence classes.

Chris Brown has been on good behavior, completing all of his community labor and working hard to repair his damaged image. It seems though it’s not enough. The singer is still being shunned by radio stations and now he has made an audio to ask his fans to step up and help him get through this:

“A lot of radio stations aren’t playing my records,” he said in the audio blog which you can hear below. “They are not being that supportive and I wouldn’t expect them to. It’s on the fans, and what you guys do in your power to bring me back. That’s all I need is you guys and nothing else will do that, except for the fans.”

Brown, making a veiled reference to the violent incident that might have cost him his career, said he’s “doing everything that I need to do” and is “a better guy.”

He added: “My singing and my music, I do it for you guys and everything else, but it won’t be possible if I’m not relevant on the radio and it wouldn’t be possible for me to be an artist if I don’t have the support. I can’t be an underground mix-tape artist … I just want all my fans to help me.”

Chris Brown and his lawyer Mark Geragos attended court today in Los Angeles for a probation update hearing and it’s all good news.

According to TMZ reports, Brown had performed 32 days of hard labor in Virginia, also having attended 17 of his 52 required domestic violence classes.

Making the judge happy with his compliance, Chris was granted an order permitting him to travel out of town between the dates of May 18 to June 27 for concert performances.

It’s nice to see Chris completing therapy. He seems in a much healthier place these days. Thoughts?
