Mark Wahlberg Wants His Neighborhood Back!

Mark Whalberg wants the Beckhams to go back home. The actor used to live in a quiet neighborhood until the Soccer star and his family moved in:
“Man, the Beckhams. It used to be so quiet on my road. Then David moves in with his family. Suddenly we’ve got paparazzi hanging out day and night. Now they’ll follow any car that drives down the road…I’m not telling Beckham to take his family home. I’m just not sure why he came to America in the first place. Man, we don’t want your soccer. There’s no way Americans are going to buy the idea of 90 minutes of running around without much happening. Thanks for trying guys, but we’ll stick to baseball and basketball.”

David Beckham Helps HIV Kids And Moms

David Beckham, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, recently visited a clinic in Cape Town, South Africa, that treats women and children affected by HIV.  As part of his visit, he was briefed on the “Mothers to Mothers” program that supports HIV-positive moms and moms-to-be.
David is a long-time supporter of UNICEF and has taken part in a series of films to promote the campaign’s messages.

Tom Cruise Is Giving Relationship Advice To The Beckham’s

beckcruiseREX_468x663Relationship guru and medications expert (joke) Tom Cruise has taken on the task of giving relationship advice to his best bud David Beckham.

The Hollywood actor, who is married to Katie Holmes, has reportedly been telling his friends what they need to do in order to maintain a healthy balance between work and their private life.

David, 34, and 35-year-old Victoria were living apart while the soccer star played for Italian club AC Milan on loan earlier this year. Cruise thinks it will be bad for their marriage if they live separately again if David decides to leave current team Los Angeles Galaxy.

A source said: “After an evening with David, Tom decided to have a friendly chat with Victoria about the family’s future. He talked to her about David ageing, his soccer career, the pressures of disgruntled fans, the loneliness when away from the family and how time apart can make marriages fail. She knows Tom has a point because she saw how her and David’s recent trip to the Seychelles really improved their relationship. It seems his heart-to-heart had an impact on her.”

Since returning the the U.S. Los Angeles Galaxy fans have been less than thrilled with the star-player. David’s contract runs through 2010 and from what we hear there will be a major publicity campaign push to get the player back on track with Galaxy fans.

Well at least Tom isn’t giving doctor advice this time!

Oh Sugar!

Remember the controversy awhile back regarding David and model Mariann Fogarasy?

The Daily Star had reported that David was making advances and claimed Beckham had been emailing  Fogarasy with “private party” invitations since they met.

After the article was released David went on record denying the allegations and then proceeded to sue them for defaming him.

Beckham’s solicitor, Gerrard Tyrrell, told Mr Justice Eady that the serious and defamatory allegations were completely untrue.

The article had been splashed across the front page of the paper and was also published on its website.

Now it seems the paper has retracted the claims and accepted he did not behave that way.  As to how much Beckham was awarded is still undisclosed.

Bravo to David… protect your family and don’t MESS with Becks!

David Beckham caused a frenzy in downtown London with the unveiling of his new Emporio Armani Billboard.

Thousands of fans gathered to meet Beckham and check out his Ad — which covers the entire facade of the Selfridges department store.

“David has a great sense of style and is an inspiring role model –- this is what makes him the perfect partner for Emporio Armani underwear,” Giorgio Armani tells Usmagazine.com in a statement. “I am very excited that David Beckham’s new campaign image was unveiled exclusively in his home country — and where better than at such an iconic retail destination as Selfridges.”

Wow, Kudos.. to unveil this ad in his home country but we want it here too!
