It’s hard to imagine Detroit being the mecca for Hollywood filming, but some of the biggest names of Hollywood are currently calling Detroit, Michigan home.
Spotted earlier, Gerard Butler and Demi Moore belted out tunes at Rockstarz Karaoke Bar in Garden City last week.
One of the songs included AC/DC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long”.

All the rage this summer is coconut water! The celebs can’t get enough of it.
From Madonna to Penn Badgley, stars have been spotted sipping the low-cal beverage as they beat the summer heat. And despite its A-list following, the drink is pretty low-key: coconut water is the liquid found in green coconuts.
Demi Moore, Matthew McConaughey and Madonna have all invested in Vita Coco, which was founded in 2004. And Vita sales jumped from about $4 million in 2007 to $20 million in 2009.
The Material Girl invested in Vita Coco because it’s an independent company. “The fact that they are saying ‘no’ to everyone who wants them is pretty cool,” her manager tells the New York Post. “You want to go to the party that no one else is invited to.”
Coconut water is a million dollar market, thanks to other brands like Zico and O.N.E., which is a favorite of Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Anne Hathaway, Nicole Scherzinger, Nick Cannon and Brooke Shields, to name a few. The beverage banks in the range of $40 to $60 million annually – although the category has yet to compete with billion-dollar drink brands like Red Bull, says Jeffrey Klineman, editor of Bevnet.com, an online publication that reviews nonalcoholic beverages.
Other celeb sippers include Molly Sims, Heidi Klum, Jessica Simpson and Ellen Pompeo, have all been spotted recently with the drink.
We’re gonna try it. It sounds refreshing and could cool us off on these blistering hot days!

It’s a mystery what the book will be about, but her rep said, “Demi has met with some publishers for a book idea but it is not a memoir, and there is no deal in place nor has Demi committed fully.”
Not a memoir? BUMMER. Demi has had a colorful life. She’s a self-described “trailer-park kid,” who moved at least 30 times by the age of 14, dropped out of high school at 16 and married rocker Freddy Moore at 18. All this before she got into show business, married Bruce Willis, had three kids, divorced and married Ashton Kutcher.
We’d love to hear about the Emilio Estevez days, and how she divorced Bruce Willis after hiring a private investigator, who discovered he had many lovers across the country. Not to mention her life as a movie star, activist, and social-networking genius.

“The thing I am most proud of is the relationship I have with my children, with my husband, with my ex-husband, with his wife, with my friends,” Ms. Moore said during an hourlong chat over coffee at a brasserie here. “And I think within that, with myself, I think I am most proud of my willingness — well, not my willingness, but I think the grace in which I have dealt with and continue to deal with my obstacles and challenges and my continued desire and ability to embrace my failings and to appreciate that which is imperfect.”

Demi Moore Will Play Miley Cyrus’ Mom In New Film
Demi Moore has confirmed on Twitter that she will play the role of Miley Cyrus’ mom in an upcoming film called “LOL”. It was a very successful French comedy film a couple years ago, about well-off teenagers, dealing with school, love, friendship and family problems.
Demi recently met Miley for the first time in person at the junket for Demi’s new dark comedy (in theaters this weekend) “The Joneses”. When it comes to Demi Moore and plastic surgery the rumors never let up. The actress is drop dead gorgeous and in her mid-40′s which gives skeptics more fuel to the fire. Now, Demi is firing back and does address the issue:
“I have had something done but it’s not on my face. It feels like school-yard name-calling a lot of the time. It hurts. You know what? Maybe one day I’ll go under the knife. It just irritates me that people are constantly saying how much I’ve spent on plastic surgery.”
No kidding. Maybe she just has good genes or better yet takes care of herself. Go Demi!
