Things must be getting serious with Drew Barrymore and her longtime beau Justin Long. The actress just changed her relationship status on Facebook to engaged! You know what they say…if you read it on Facebook it must be true!

Kate Beckinsale and Drew Barrymore enjoyed a huge laugh, meeting up on the red carpet at the Hollywood AFI Fest premier of their new comedy, “Everybody’s Fine” in Los Angeles. The film stars Robert DeNiro who plays a widower who’s three kids cancel their holiday trips to see him, so he embarks on journey to visit each of them. Their lives turn out not to be as picture perfect as he had thought.

Drew Barrymore graces the cover of PARADE magazine and opens up about her directorial debut “Whip It” , happiness and love.
Here are a few highlights:
On happiness: “It feels as if I’m willing myself to be happy. I do feel as if I am thrusting myself forward all the time. Nancy, who runs my production company and is my favorite person I’ve met in my life so far, had on her refrigerator the sign ‘HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE.’ When I first saw it, I thought, ‘That is so simple and yet complex and wise.”
On Hollywood: “I’ve stopped believing in happy endings. I’ve started believing in good days. At the end of my movie, there’s honesty. There’s truth. There’s peace. What tomorrow will bring is still in question. There is a joy that’s earned by failure or triumph. All those things add up to teach us, if we are open to it.”
