Kanye West took to his blog to explain what really went down at the airport the other day:
I feel bad that people believe this kind of stuff or any random rumor that is taken as fact because ‘it’s on the internet.’ This rumor is particularly ironic because I was actually happy with a business class seat and was offered a seat in first class. A friend of mine was sitting in coach so asked if they could bump him up to business instead of putting me in first. There was absolutely no altercation in any way. There’s been many a time where I’ve given someone in coach my business or first class seat in order to sit next to a friend I bumped into. I really could care less about where I sit on the plane. It’s hard to deal with the rumors sometimes. As a good person with a warm heart, it does bother me. I’m not bigger than feeling pain, embarrassment, stress and worry. Have you ever been lied on??? How does it make you feel??? You wanna tell everybody it’s not true right? Thank you to all my fans who still love and support me even though it’s not the trend right now! I’m sleeping in the studio and I won’t let you guys down!
Good to know Kanye is working on new music, because that is what he does best! Also nice to read a blog post that is not all in CAPS!

Well as we suspected PETA has responded to Kanye and Amber’s disgusting display of fashion. No, Kanye did not get a letter like Kelis but he did get a statement from PETA direct:
As PETA V.P. Dan Mathews so eloquently put it, “Kanye can’t help making himself look like an idiot, whether at an awards show or a fashion show. He and his girlfriend look like pathetic creatures from a shabby roadside zoo.”

A rep for MTV contacted Us magazine to clear the rumor: “That’s absolutely NOT true, We did reach out to Kanye”
MTV Networks claims however that that’s not the case and while remaining skimp on details, a representative told US Magazine that an invitation was extended,
“That’s absolutely not true. We DID reach out to Kanye.”
The statement holds true to what many other news outlets are reporting, that Kanye was not snubbed out of an invite but that he chose not to participate.
Classy.

Rumor has it Kanye West is getting ready to propose to his love Amber Rose. The relationship is serious and since Kanye’s mother passed away he has been looking for a strong woman in his life.
Bossip reports: A close pal of West, 32, tells us: “He has really bonded with her since losing his mum and needs another strong woman in his life.” The pair fly out to the Dominican Republic in January, where a loved-up Kanye has booked a £2,000-a-night eight-room villa. The friend adds: “He’s very serious, otherwise he wouldn’t be spending that much money on her.”
This would not surprise us. We have a strong feeing about these two. Stay tuned….
We haven’t heard or seen much of Kanye West lately. Ever since the Taylor Swift fiasco and his admission on Jay Leno that he might need a break, the rapper has been M.I.A. Even his on=off girlfriend Amber Rose has been seen without him on several occasions. Hopefully he is getting the mental rest he so needed after his mother’s passing.
In related news: congratulations is in order! Kanye has 6 Grammy nominations and is releasing VH1 Storytellers, a two-disc CD/DVD on January 5th, 2010. Direct from Def Jam, the product features 70-plus minutes of performance footage and audio, a Q&A session and previously unreleased performances.
You can love him or hate him but one thing is for sure, the guy is a musical genius!

It is no secret Kanye has been on a spiral as of late.
With his outburst at this years MTV Awards a source confirmed his drinking is getting worse.
“His drinking is getting worse,” told one source. “When he has too much he can be mean and obnoxious. If he doesn’t get help soon, things could really spiral out of control.”
West wants to check into rehab after finishing his Fame Kills tour with Lady Gaga in January.
“Kanye doesn’t want to spend time in rehab but knows he needs help and is taking steps in the right direction,” the insider added.
It seems his drinking has gotten worse since the passing of his mother.
