Kendra Wilkinson has vowed never to pose in Playboy again, being a mom and wife Kendra is settling down and it’s serious. The new mom who is also getting a breast reduction, opened up to E! True Hollywood Story, airing Wednesday at 10 p.m., and the reveal was bigger than anyone expected.
E! Online reports: The former Girl Next Door recounts the veritable lifetime-worth of drama she’s had in her 24 years, from her parents’ divorce when she was 5 and the havoc it wreaked on her self-esteem to almost dying of a cocaine overdose when she was a teenager to spending two weeks in a psychatric facility.
All of which happened just a few years before she moved in with Hugh Hefner and fellow Hef girlfriends Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison. Kendra recalls defying her mom at every turn when she was a kid, such as when she was expelled from junior high for bringing alcohol to school.
Ultimately, she credits almost dying from a cocaine overdose as the moment that forced her to get it together.
“I was bleeding from every hole in my body and I really thought I was going to die that night,” she says. “But you know what, I survived, and I swear it was a couple of days after that that I had an epiphany. I just stopped drugs, stopped smoking cigarettes, stopped everything, and went home.”
The reformed teen started participating in sports, got a part-time job, got breast implants and, after posing for some sexy photos at a car show, got noticed by the man she credits with really saving her life, Hugh Hefner.
