Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart are making the rounds for the promotion of their new film “The Runaways.” The two had a blast working on the movie about the 70’s rock group featuring Joan Jett, The Runaways. The movie premier brought out Dakota, Kristen, Taylor Lautner, Michael Shannon, Scout Taylor-Compton and of course, Joan Jett.
Kristen said, “I think Dakota was more emotional than I was, to be honest with you.” Remembering the day she had to cut her hair for the movie, Kristen said Dakota almost cried. (!)
Dakota said, “I did… I almost cried… For some weird reason, I had an attachment to Kristen’s hair. But [her new look] was amazing, and it was what she wanted. It’s not my hair!”
Dakota and Kristen both sing in the film and for the soundtrack, and you might be surprised how good they are!
The film hits limited theaters March 19th, and will be everywhere April 9th.
