It’s Confirmed: Mariah Carey Is Pregnant!!

Oh Sugar!

We knew it! It has now been confirmed that Mariah Carey is 4 months pregnant!!

The beautiful singer and hubby Nick Cannon are overjoyed but have decided not to talk about the pregnancy publicly.

Privately, though, it’s a different story, Nick is overjoyed and has shared the great news with close friends only.

On Monday, Nick again dodged the pregnancy question.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it time and time again — when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her,” he said on his radio show on New York’s 92.3 FM.

Despite his radio interview, “Nick has been telling friends how excited he is to be a dad.”

We are so excited for them both!!

Is Mariah Carey Preggers??

The beautiful Mariah Carey exposed what looks like a baby bump while performing at a concert in Brazil last night. YES!!!

Carey, who will be releasing a Christmas album in November, performed a 15-song set comprising of a catalog of hits, including “Dreamlover,” “Hero,” “Make It Happen, “ “Obsessed,” “Touch My Body,” and more in from of a sold-out crowd at the Festa Do Peão de Boiadeiros (Cowboy Festival) in Barretos, São Paulo, Brazil.

The star, who was fashionably late for the mid-night show, apologized via Twitter, saying “I really tried to be on time. Hopefully I still am. I never know because I make my management lie to me so I’m early(ish) but this is too much.”

Adding, “Seriously, I really do love it here, beautiful people inside and out! Tonite was tuff 4 me 4 personal reasons, but U got me thru!L4L”

HMMM…We’re gonna guess Mariah is preggers but will have to wait until it’s officially announced before we get too excited.

Mariah Carey Reportedly Working On Second Christmas Album

After keeping a low profile for the past few months, Mariah Carey steps out Friday in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she’ll be performing at the 55th Barretos Rodeo on Saturday. “Can’t wait to see the fans @ the show after I get a morsel and some sleep!” she Tweeted. “Love you Brazil!”

In related news: Mariah Carey Christmas Album 2010 – Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” is probably the best modern day Christmas-time track. Fans will be lucky enough to hear more of her Christmas music, as Carey is reportedly working on a Christmas album for the second time in her career. Her first album was reviewed well, and it will be interesting to see if she will be able to duplicate the effort. The new compilation will have six new songs and a remix of her previous hit song.

The last Christmas album she did was released 16 years ago, and Carey is looking to reclaim the magic of the first album.

Mariah Carey And Shania Twain Are The Latest Contenders For ‘American Idol’

The Boston Herald is reporting that Shania Twain may be the newest judge on American Idol.

“They’ve been after her ever since she was a mentor on the show last season,” a source told People.com yesterday. “And they haven’t given up… Shania’s a huge fan of the show,and she had a great time as a mentor.”

And then there’s Mariah Carey, whose husband Nick Cannon, host of America’s Got Talent, reports has her eyes set on the judges’ table.

“She talks about it,” Cannon told the Hollywood Reporter . “She says ‘I would love to do that.’ She is one of the greatest singers of our time; she would be great.”

Idol may also be getting Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, who has been telling everyone – except his bandmates – he’s got the gig sitting next to Randy Jackson .

When asked by a New York Post reporter if he could be tough on a young singer, Tylersaid: “I’m very judgmental of the guys in the band. I know when to say ‘Don’t bore us – get to the chorus!’ and I think I’d bring credibility to that forum if I was asked to do it.”

We would love to see Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez score the judges seats.

Now THAT would be entertainment!

Mariah Carey May Buy Michael Jackson’s Furniture

Mariah Carey reportedly wants to buy Michael Jackson’s unused living room set. The one-year anniversary of Michael’s death, today, will be marked in Las Vegas with an auction of his personal items. Julien’s Auctions at Planet Hollywood will auction off this ornate red velvet and gold-trimmed living room set that Michael purchased for around $215,000. Mariah is supposedly sending her interior designer, Kenneth Bordewick, to do her bidding, which is expected to start at $150,000.

Interested parties can also get their hands on Michael’s Swarovski crystal-coated glove worn on his “Victory” tour, and his “Beat It” video t-shirt. The furniture Mariah is interested in was purchased by Michael for his “This Is It” concert tour but, of course, it was never used. Proceeds from the Julien’s Auction will go to the Jackson estate.

We can’t think of a more fitting owner. Mimi loved Michael, and the furniture set totally fits her style. Plus, he would probably like for her to have it!

Mariah Carey Back has pulled out of Tyler Perry’s film adaptation of the Ntozake Shange play “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf”. Many are speculating that she pulled out because she is pregnant. People Online reports:

Carey was set to appear in the adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s 1975 play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. Filming was scheduled to begin next month.

But on Tuesday Carey abruptly withdrew from the project.

“I’m not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time,” Carey’s spokeswoman Cindi Berger says, declining to give a reason for Carey’s withdrawal.

Nick Cannon Says “I Love You” With Bling Candy!

Here is something you might not know. Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have a shared love of candy ring pops throughout their relationship. So when it came time for their anniversary Nick went all out on the originality front:

People Online reports: Cannon did just that when he gave his wife a custom-made “Ring Pop” as a surprise gift during their small, private party for their second anniversary in Los Angeles Friday. But this sweet treat was no sucker: Hand crafted at Jason of Beverly Hills jewelers, the sparkler was made of white gold encrusted in white diamonds and pink sapphires.

“It also comes in a box complete with a spinner so that you can see it sparkle under the lights inside,” Jason Arasheben, the CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, tells PEOPLE.

And the candy ring has history in the happy couple’s relationship: Three years ago when Cannon, 29, proposed to Carey, 41, it was with a diamond ring disguised in a ring pop candy wrapper. They got married in 2008 on Carey’s Bahamian estate.

It’s fitting that Carey’s last album, Memories of an Imperfect Angel, has a track called “Candy Bling” on which Carey professes her love of old school candy ring pops.

Says Arasheben, “The ring pop design is something Nick knew Mariah would absolutely love.”

Mariah And Nick Cannon Plan Marriage #3

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon will be getting married for the third time this April 30th. It’s the date of their second wedding anniversary and they are continuing with their tradition. Nick says, “We get married every year! That’s our thing… So it’s going to be our third wedding this year, That’s what we’ll be doing on the actual [anniversary]… We’ll do something… A party or event, just to celebrate.”

Of course, getting re-married requires a new ring… and Nick says he’s prepared. He states, “This is the third ring I have to buy. It’ll be something different. Something good.”

Mimi Has Mad Skills In The Kitchen

According to Mariah Carey’s hubby, Nick Cannon, the girl’s got skill with a skillet. Nick said Mariah is a great cook, “she makes her own sauce. She’s skilled like that.” The sauce is the Mariah-marinara that they use on little pizzas. Nick added, “you know the pizzas with the English muffins and the mozzarella? We do that a lot… She likes to make fun dishes.”

Nick and Mariah will be celebrating their second wedding anniversary on April 30th. After buying Mimi a pink Porsche for her birthday, we can only imagine what’s in store for the anniversary celebration! We’re ON IT. XO
