Even Katy Perry can’t tame Miley Cyrus‘ wardrobe, as much as she’d like to. Katy recently commented on Miley’s slutty outfits at the MuchMusic awards in Toronto. It happened when she was backstage watching Miley perform on the TV screens. She reportedly said to a friend, “Oh my God, poor girl. She’s Britney Spears all over again. It’s happening right before our eyes.”
A source said that a friend asked Katy if she was talking about actress Lindsay Lohan and Katy said, “No, she’s definitely headed the Britney route. It’s worse. Look at those outfits. It’s bad.”
Katy is right, but she must not have known that Miley admitted that Britney is her role model and inspiration. It’s sad that with all of Miley’s experience, no one has told her that looking “sexy, not horny” will keep her in the game.
Perhaps the waning sales of her new album will bring the message home. But we doubt it! It’s only just begun folks.
