Seth MacFarlane says everybody can relax.  He won’t be hosting the Oscars again next year.  There has been a lot of speculation about that lately because they just hired the producers.  So he went on Twitter and wrote, “Traumatized critics exhale.  I’m unable to do the Oscars again.  Tried to make it work, schedule-wise, but I need sleep.  However I highly recommend the job.  My suggestion for host is Joaquin Phoenix.”

Jo Wood, the ex-wife of Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones, says the first time she met Keith Richards, he pulled out a silver spoon, a bottle of pills, and a lighter.  In a matter of seconds, he crushed some and cooked it, and then filled a syringe and stabbed it straight through his shirt.  She says they all used to stay up for days on drugs.  But later on, Keith Richards pushed them to be more professional.  He had a rule.  “No being late with your packing.”

WASHINGTON, Tuesday, May 21, 2013 — The American Red Cross is working around the clock to help people in Oklahoma after Monday’s devastating tornadoes with shelters, food, water and supplies, and more workers, supplies and equipment are moving into the area today.

“Our thoughts and sympathy are with all those impacted by these horrific tornadoes,” said Trevor Riggen, vice president of Disaster Operations and Logistics for the Red Cross. “Specialized Red Cross disaster teams are helping now and will be helping for weeks to come as people in Oklahoma recover from these storms.”

The Red Cross deployed almost 30 emergency response vehicles to distribute food and relief supplies and more are on alert. Two Southern Baptist Convention kitchens and kitchen support trailers will join the relief effort with the ability to serve tens of thousands of meals a day.

Will Smith has a big blockbuster movie coming out next weekend (May 31^st) called ‘After Earth.’  It’s a sci-fi movie with his son, Jayden.  But Will says Kanye West has been pushing him to get back to rapping and record some new music.

He says, “I’ve been messing around with Kanye.  We were in the studio a couple times.  So I might get the bug.  I’m not going to do it unless I get truly inspired.  But Ye’s been pushing me a little bit.”

He has been flirting with the idea for the last year.  He hasn’t released any new material since his album ‘Lost and Found’ in 2005.

Eminem’s music company is suing Facebook and an ad agency, saying they copied music from one of Enimem’s songs.   The company Eight Mile Style has filed a federal lawsuit over an ad that ran on Facebook last month with his song ‘Under the Influence.’  The ad was used in a webcast by Mark Zuckerberg to announce a new interface for Android phones called Facebook Home.

Just another reason to love this wonderful actor! Kevin Spacey saved a life by rescuing his Boston, named to honor the
city and its people following the Boston Marathon bombing. This new cutie will join Spacey’s 15-year-old terrier mix,
Mini, whom he adopted from Battersea Dog’s Home in London. Boston was rescued from the Surry County Animal
Shelter in North Carolina and — thanks to their volunteers — now happily shares Spacey’s home.

“From my home to his, it feels fantastic,” said Rachel Hiatt who helps rescue dogs from the Surry County Animal
Shelter. “I couldn’t believe it! I was so happy for her and of course I cried.” Hiatt and 12 volunteers vaccinate and
foster the rescued animals and then, through the Stokes County Humane Society, prepare them to head north for the
North Shore Animal Leagues’ adoption program; Spacey adopted Boston from the North Shore Animal League.
