Justin Timberlake’s next movie, ‘Inside Llewyn Davis,’ just premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. It’s getting rave reviews and laughs for some scenes. It’s generating big time Oscar buzz.
Justin wears a beard in this one. He says, “I enjoy looking ridiculous in everyday life, so it wasn’t hard for me to do in a movie.”
His character is based on an Irish folk singer named Paul Clayton. The movie will be coming out in December.
There is a cat in this movie that could wind up being as big of a star as Uggie the dog.
Mary J. Blige
The IRS has just put a 3.4 million dollar tax lien on the assets of Mary J. Blige. Their paperwork shows she failed to pay taxes for 3 years (2009, 2010, and 2011.) Plus, the state of New Jersey says she owes almost another million in state taxes. And on top of all that, she is being sued for defaulting on a 2-million dollar bank loan. And her charity is being sued for failing to pay back another loan for a quarter of a million dollars.
Kelly Rowland
Kelly Rowland has had a very good year and now it has just been announced that she has been named a judge on the X-Factor USA panel.
Simon Cowell said today, “It’s taken more than a decade but I’m delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls (I think!). Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different.”
“I am very excited to be reuniting with Simon Cowell and THE X FACTOR family,” said Rowland. “It feels great to be able to take this journey here at home in the states!”

Lisa Ling has released pictures of her new baby girl.
Her daughter, Jett, was born back in March. They had to do a C-section because there were complications with her umbilical cord.
Lisa says, “When they held her up, it was probably the most triumphant moment in our marriage. It was like, ‘we made that screaming beast and we’re responsible for her for the rest of our lives!’ It was an incredible bonding moment.”

The L.A.P.D. is looking into death threats against Chris Brown. The threats were called in to his lawyer’s office. Attorney Mark Geragos says this is all being taken very seriously. An investigation is underway.
At the Billboard Music Awards, Taylor Swift won 8 awards including top artist and top album for ‘Red.’ But she is getting the most attention for what she said in her acceptance speech. ”To the fans who come to the shows and buy the albums, I just want you to know this one thing. You are the longest and best relationship I have ever had.”
She won for Best Album and beat out her ex Harry Styles’ band, One Direction, in that category.

Kristen Wiig says it’s really hard for her to watch her old ‘SNL’ shows because they always made her look like either an unattractive older woman or some creepy looking kid. So she is posing for ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ in some very sexy looks.
She misses doing ‘SNL’ but now she is working on movies. She has a comedy coming out in July called ‘Girl Most Likely.’ And she will be in the new ‘Anchorman’ sequel. There will not be a ‘Bridesmaids’ sequel. She says, ‘We could have made a lot of money, but that’s not my goal in my creative life.”
In her romantic life, she says “some guys are more confortable with the fame than others.” She is dating the drummer from the Strokes, Fabrizio Moretti.
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne walked a red carpet together in Beverly Hills over the weekend with their daughter, Kelly. Ozzy kissed Sharon and they held hands. They also went out on a lunch date over the weekend.
Sharon had said she won’t even consider getting back together with Ozzy until he proves he is sober for good.
O.J. Simpson says he wants to go out and do a big nationwide speaking tour at colleges to talk about Nicole Brown’s murder. He says, “They teach the ‘trial of the century’ in school. So who better to talk about it than me?”
First, he would have to get out of jail. He has been trying to get a judge to overturn his conviction for armed robbery when he and some friends took guns along to get back some of his memorabilia.
In jail, he has ballooned up to 270 pounds.
